When it comes to children photography I'm facing a big challenge. Kids are gorgeous when they smile but can be even more beautiful if they don't. I like to take pictures which show all the emotions from the happy laughing child to the miffed one.

I think that a good photo should evoke emotions, so my job is to do my best and capture the feelings of the subjects through the lens. Even if the child doesn't cooperate, often the result can be an astonishing one.

Holiday pictures or travel photography?

Taking holiday pictures is easy. It is something for any of us while travel photography is more special.

Our main focus is travel photography. And our main goal is to inspire you and to provoke emotions. This is why we need good or very good snapshots.

But what is good travel photography? To be able to showcase our travel photography we require a healthy mix of pictures of various genre: people, landscapes, streets and buildings, animals, plants - a little bit from everything.

A good gear is a must to capture this wide spectrum of photographic motives.

This year is coming to an end. It is the time when each of us reviews the year. We are doing the same, here is our retrospective in pictures. There are pictures, that you liked a lot and pictures that are very special for us.

2010 was a very productive photo-year. We saw and lived a lot. The highlight was our trip to Iceland, a unique country in the world. So many volcanoes, glaciers and geysers can't be seen anywhere else. We found everywhere good photographic motives, we took thousands of pictures and we spent a great time there.

The short-trips to Croatia and Italy were also very exciting. The Mediterranean countries have charm and are very interesting for us because of the culinary diversity.

The winter time is incredible too. It is a real pleasure to take pictures in the snow at low temperatures. But now we have also more time for other activities like the Icelandic Calendar 2011, which you liked a lot.

Having said this lets hope for a better year 2011 and for new adventures.
